Activities
We invited Principals to the very fashionable Golden Park Hotel on February 2006, and it was a ‘splashy’ evening. Mrs Ayesha Das launched our ceo’s book Where the child is without fear to a packed hall, and we in SERVE proposed to the assembly the urgency inherent in the need for educational change. We offered that book as a ‘how-to’ manual, and urged them to send teachers to us for training.
On several occasions the CEO was invited to address various groups of interested people, Lions and Rotary among them, but the most estimable was of course the Universities, where on more than one occasion he presented SERVE’s position on education today and the need for such important people to lend their shoulders to the wheel towards improvements which we would suggest in fine detail every time.
